This Easy Breezy Bucket Hat crochet pattern is a beginning crocheter’s dream! Spiral rounds of single crochet create a hat that is completely on trend. The slightly rolled brim allows you to flip the brim or down to suit your style. It is completely customizable for the depth of the hat and the length of the brim. The Yarn

For the sample, I used FibraNatura Unity Beyond, a lightweight thick-and-thin yarn. It gives a kind of rustic look. The yarn is soft but sturdy and is super comfy on your head. Unity Beyond is 36% wool, 28% cotton, 19% linen, and 18% bamboo and comes in 3.5 oz [100 g], 262 yds [240 m] balls.
Update: This yarn has been discontinued, but another lightweight cotton yarn would work just as well. I recommend Patons Grace, which comes in a lot of nice colors.
Easy Breezy Bucket Hat Free Crochet Pattern
Worked from the top down, the hat begins with gradual increases to the full circumference. Then work in the round without increasing to the brim. Start the brim with an increase round, then work even with just a few more increases to the length you choose. A longer brim may require an extra ball of yarn.
