Carry all your necessities in my new Kite Handbag pattern for Universal Yarn. It’s made of 3 squares cleverly arranged to form a bag.

The Yarn
Clean Cotton is a soft, durable yarn made of recycled cotton and polyester left over from making other yarn. You can feel good about using recycled fiber, and you’ll appreciate how sturdy it is.
You’ll need just 3 balls in either solid color Clean Cotton, to show off your stitching, or dappled Clean Cotton Multi, to show off the yarn. Or mix and match coordinating shades! The Muud Leather handle works perfectly to complete the look.
The Pattern
Simple single crochet squares are made and assembled before the handle is added. Use a size G-6 (4mm) crochet hook or whatever size you need to get gauge.
The pattern Kite Handbag is free at Universal Yarn’s website and on Ravelry. It is written with an assembly diagram.
