Knit in a soft, bulky yarn, this scarf uses elongated garter stitch to make a cloud around your neck! The free Jiffy Keyhole Scarf knitting pattern is so easy, you’ll knit it in a jiffy!
The keyhole, make by doing extra yarn-overs, allows the scarf to stay secure, no matter your activities.

The Yarn
You’ll knit this scarf in no time with bulky-weight yarn. I used Cascade Yarns Baby Alpaca Chunky in color 554 Koala Bear.
You’ll need about 100 yards [92 m] to make the scarf if you match the listed gauge.

thank you for this pattern
You’re so welcome!
Love the pattern! I’m doing it now but is it missing the bind off? Do I just do a regular one? Thanks!
Oops! Yes, do a regular bind off.
Thanks for pointing that out.
Hi there,
A question regarding the keyhole row, you have a k2 together but where do you add back the stitch? Plus do you wrap two before that k2 together?
Thankyou
The yarnover adds the stitch back on the same row that you k2tog. “Wrapping yarn twice around the needle on each st” means that you wrap 2 on each of the stitches across (except the yarnover where you yo 5 times).
