It’s Not Over ’til It’s Finished

Thanks for joining me in class! I hope you picked up some tips on making your handknit items make “hand made vs. home made”.

As you can see, in a 3-hour class we can’t begin to cover everything there is to know about finishing. Some of the techniques we weren’t able to cover in depth are:

  • 3-needle bind-off
  • Kitchener stitch (grafting)
  • Provisional cast-ons
  • Short-rowing (especially for shoulders)

I cover some of these techniques in other classes, and they are certainly described well in various books and videos, and other places online.
